Hands on event for University of Wisconsin Women in Criminal Justice Mentoring Program followed by Public Recruitment FairWednesday, April 12, from 4:30-8 p.m.
Sponsored by the City of Madison Police Department
and the Madison Community Policing Foundation
Hands on experiences for UW-WICJ mentees will include four 30 minute rotations, including the following:
Crime Scene presented by Investigators Tim Smith and Anthony Hornung from the City of Madison Police Department
Tactics presented by Special Agents Kyle Dilley and Tyler Lange from the Wisconsin Department of Justice-Division of Criminal Investigation
Mental Health presented by Mental Health Officers Nicole Schmitgen and Mackenzie Cole from the City of Madison Police Department
Virtual Reality presented by Training Officer Jon Drollinger from the City of Madison Police Department

Recruiting event to follow from approximately 6:30-8 p.m.
This will be an informal event, street clothes will be appropriate. Sandwich boxes will be provided.
A car-pool/shuttle bus will leave from UW-Platteville at 2:30 p.m. and return around 10 p.m.
Media (TV and Press) will be in attendance.
