A Macon, Mississippi native, Uvee Hayes was born and reared with the Blues. Her mom had a little country store where she would have Friday and Saturday night gatherings. Uvee Hayes is especially proud to be an educator, scholar and St. Louis Public School psychological examiner. Her dedication to education is paramount in her career. She has given the majority of her adult life to education and to the music profession.
