Love to read? Want to talk about it? Join us! Our Book Group meets on the second Wednesday of the month. 📚 Our October 9 selection is "Midnight in Europe" by Alan Furst. It is a novel of spies and secret operatives in Paris, New York, Warsaw, and Odessa on the eve of WWII. Bill Myers will lead the discussion.
📚 For our November 13 meeting we chose "Sacred Earth, Sacred Soul" by John Philip Newell. The book is about reawakening to what we know in the depths of our being, that Earth is sacred and that this sacredness is at the heart of every human being ... Andrea Theisson will lead the discussion.
📚 December 11 will find us discussing "The Good Life" by Robin Waldinger and Marc Shulz. What makes a life fulfilling and meaningful? The simple but surprising answer is: relationships. The stronger our relationships, the more likely we are to live happy, satisfying, and healthier lives. In fact, the Harvard Study of Adult Development reveals that the strength of our connections with others can predict the health of both our bodies and our brains as we go through life. Lorraine Phillips will lead the discussion.
📓 We meet in the sanctuary, which is accessible by ramp or steps.
