Beginning August 18th, our Children's Program helps kids build community, learn responsibility, spark curiosity, and have fun! This year, older kids will explore "Heeding The Call," a series on social justice. Highlights include developing qualities for creating justice, engaging in social justice as part of our spiritual journey, learning leadership and self-awareness, hearing real-life stories of justice, and gaining tools for justice work.
Younger kids' classes will follow the curriculum "Love Will Guide Us." Participants seek life's guidance through Unitarian Universalist Sources, focusing on love. They explore big questions like our origins, our relationship with Earth, responding with love, and what happens after death. Sessions use UU wisdom to help answer these questions and value the process of asking them.
