Service Presenter: Deborah Jean NielsenYears ago, I imagined that after a significant feast, the caterpillar would have just enough energy and freedom of movement to be able to create a shelter and hop in. Dropping into a deep sleep, I imagined, would be the next step in preparation for an alchemical transformation. Once it became clear, that in fact, the caterpillar liquifies, as a step in the alchemical process of becoming a butterfly, I was amazed and enchanted.
As humans we go through developmental changes and neurological changes that are significant, in utero and throughout development. My focus is centered more on consciousness and psychological shifts which can feel like an alchemical like-change.
