About this Event
Participate in a FREE poetry slam workshop led by Regie Cabico and funded by The Virginia Commission for the Arts in support with UUCS. Regie is a spoken word pioneer having won The Nuyorican Poets Cafe Grand Slam and later taking top prizes in three National Poetry Slams among many other honors.

Write Your Story – Poetry Slam Writing Workshop
This workshop is for participants aged 16 and up and is a chance for poetry slam participants to generate material and rehearse their poems.

This inter-generational workshop is for participants ages 10 and up and is a chance for poetry slam participants to generate material and rehearse their poems.
