**Registration opens Wednesday, May 1, 2024. This event is free and WILL sell out. We recommend setting an alarm for 10am on May 1 to ensure your child(ren)'s spot.**The Utica National Insurance Group Kids' Run is one of the Boilermaker's most popular events year after year. In its 33rd year, the event is fun for kids and parents alike and offers kids exposure to the sport of running while introducing them to the spirit of the Boilermaker.
Runners in this non-competitive event receive a t-shirt, water bottle, and refreshments after the run.
Registration will be 100% ONLINE this year. There will be NO expo registration for the Kids' Run.
Registered participants must pick up their t-shirt and important race materials at the Health & Wellness Expo at Mohawk Valley Community College on Friday, July 12 between 12pm (noon) and 7pm. There is NO race day packet pick-up
Distance Course Participants: (Age & Distances)
Special Needs Children, Ages 4 – 16: 1/4 mile
Ages 4 – 6: 1/4 mile
Ages 7 – 8: 1/2 mile
Ages 9 - 10: 3/4 mile
Ages 11 - 12: 1 mile
Safety:
No strollers are allowed on the course.
No flip-flops, sandals, crocs, or heelies allowed for runners.
