Freefall Data Systems CEO Casey Mongoven is holding a USPA Coach Rating Course at Skydive Santa Barbara from July 19th to 21st, 2024. This is a full, three-day course complete with practice jumps on day one. Ground evaluation and evaluation jumps take place on Sunday, the final day of the course (weather permitting). Price is $400 cash plus the cost of jump tickets (at least 8 @ $30 a piece, including practice jumps with other candidates or an evaluator). Candidates must have previously observed and assisted in one solo first jump course, completed 100 skydives and have a B License, and answered at least 80% of the questions on the USPA Coach Final Examination correctly. Candidates are expected to have read the entire portion of the Instructor Rating Manual pertaining to the Coach Rating prior to attending the course.
