Reunion of Marine Basic Officer training class 3-67 and 41st Officers Candidate Class. Your reunion committee has planned an exciting and informative reunion in San Diego, CA. Reunion highlights will include spending a day at Camp Pendleton, a cruise on San Diego Bay, and close with a banquet at a local restaurant. Our speaker will be Commanding General 1st Marine Expeditionary Force. The cost is $100 per person. San Diego is a Navy/Marine Corps town with great sightseeing, wonderful restaurants, and outstanding beaches. San Diego mild weather in October is perfect for strolls along the San Diego waterfront or shopping in the many quaint stores in Seaport Village.
Registration
Your Reunion Committee is using a new way to tell our class about our reunion and to register you and your guests. Eventbrite is a leader in the industry in helping organizations organize all kinds of events and provides a modern platform to make events like our bi-annual reunion run smoother. Because it is a little different than we have used in the past, we are providing this quick guide to registering for our reunion.
What you see when you first get to the information page which tells you about the reunion. Where, when, and about; place San Diego, hotel info and how to reserve your room, and what we will be doing at the reunion (schedule). It also gives you a cost (ticket) and a register button for the reunion. There are 3 choices: attendee, honored guest, and donation (not attending but want to donate to the class). You fill in the numbers of attendees that you are registering for and hit the register button. It then takes you to the registration page where you fill in the information for Marine registering and your guest/spouse. You need to answer all the required questions (they have an *). After you answer all required questions you pay with a credit card on the site. Eventbrite is a safe and secure site and your credit card info is not stored by Eventbrite. No more checks mailed in, no more problems of reconciling who paid, no more separate lists for windbreakers, tours, name tags. The website collects all the information in one place so we can more easily manage the whole process.

Room rate $169.00 per night plus taxes = $190.55 per night total.

The date for registrations eligible for our group rate September 22, 2021. Group rates are available three days before and after the arrival/departure dates shown above, based on availability.
Group rate includes a full Breakfast Buffet for 2 people per room each morning, complimentary Evening Cocktail Reception for 2 people per room 17:30-19:30, and complimentary WI-FI in guest rooms.
Overnight self-parking is available at $35 plus tax.

17:30 -19:30: Evening Reception (Cocktails) full bar, included in the room rate; hotel lobby: wear nametags.
19:30: Dinner on own.

Friday, Oct. 22, 2021
06:00 - 07:30: Full breakfast, included in the room rate; hotel Lobby; wear nametags.
08:00: Meet in hotel bobby; board buses for Camp Pendleton; wear nametags, bring a warm jacket, hat and sunscreen, and wear comfortable shoes.
09:45: Those not going to Camp Pendleton meet in lobby for Old Town Trolley Tour (Optional cost)
08:15 - 09:30: Travel to Camp Pendleton
09:30 - 16:00: Camp Schedule TBD
16:00 - 17:15: Buses to Embassy Suites San Diego
17:15: Busses arrive at the hotel
17:30 - 9:30: Evening Reception (Cocktails) Full bar, included in the room rate; hotel lobby: wear nametags.

07:00 - 09:00: Full breakfast, included in the room rate; hotel lobby; wear nametags.
09:30 - 12:15: Depart for San Diego Bay Cruise, included in reg. fee; possible memorial service aboard Flagship San Diego Bay Cruise
12:15 - 15:00: Free time, Optional USS Midway Tour, shopping, visit Coronado, lunch on own
15:00 - 16:00: Hotel lobby: Meeting General session discuss class business and decide where next reunion will be held
16:00 - 17:00: Hotel Lobby: Second breakout session by TBS Company; wear nametags; spouses/guests will meet separately.
17:00 - 17:30: Free time.
17:30 - 18:15: Evening Reception (Cocktails) Full bar, included in the room rate; hotel lobby: wear nametags, dress casual and bring a sweater or wrap as we will leave directly from cocktails to restaurant
18:15: Depart for restaurant.
18:30 - 21:30: TBS Reunion Banquet: separate schedule for the banquet will be published.
21:30: Banquet closes; depart for hotel
21:45 - ???: Hospitality Suite open.
