Join us to learn practical strategies for smoother transitions!
During this in-person educational opportunity for parents and caregivers (please do not bring your child/youth to the event), we will discuss different types of visual strategies to support children/youth with autism through transitions.
You will learn about the strategies, practice using the visual supports and then take them home with you!
The support strategies will include: First/Then boards, teaching wait using visual schedules and count down boards.
All materials will be provided!
This workshop is funded by the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) as a Foundational Family Service.
