Using Tarot to Support Mental Health

A casual workshop for exploring the use of tarot and oracle to support mental health. Beginners welcome!
About this Event

Would you like to begin or expand your tarot & oracle practice through the lens of "mental health"? We'll consider why meaning-making is crucial for maintaining emotional steadiness in these challenging times, and how to practice tapping into our intuitive parts.

Join Prism therapist Nicole Tripp for a playful morning hangout with the cards. We'll do a combo of learning and practicing, and readers of all skill levels, including newbies, are welcome!

In this 2.5-hour workshop, you'll learn and practice:

  • the difference between tarot and oracle
  • exploring grief, loss, and transitions in the tarot
  • each suit's element and mental health relationship
  • using a little parts work to explore reactions/challenging narratives
  • tips for taking care of your tools

By the end, you'll have a better sense of:

  • how the cards can map onto your psychological, somatic, and spiritual parts in a way that supports your goals
  • how to practice identifying and listening to your intuition
  • whether you feel drawn to tarot, oracle, or both
  • how to explore emotions that come up in the meaning-making process
  • ideas for practicing mini readings for yourself

You'll also get to explore a variety of decks, take home some prompts for practice, and connect with others doing this work!

The cost for this event is priced on a sliding scale that aims to offer value while supporting the years of work that the teacher brings to this offering. Select the tier that feels most generous and accessible to you!

Nicole Tripp LMSW has been practicing social work since 2018 and practicing animistic spiritual ways for much longer. Her tarot practice is not centered on memorizing card meanings or doing complicated spreads, but instead on building and deepending relationships, both with the cards and within herself.
