About the Artist Facilitator //
Quinton Green [aka Mr Milise & Champagne Bubbler] is a Midlands Based, Award Winning Professional Youth Mentor, Published Poet (United Nations, BBC, Essex Police) and Sony Music Signed Artist.
His courses have been utilised by Police Forces, Schools, Prison Reform Services and Councils as part of Youth Awareness initiatives across the UK. He and his Team have partnered with Academy’s, Local Authorities, Pupil Referral Units, Charities and other Youth Organisations to look at effective ways to build, where appropriate, on the statutory content already outlined in the national curriculum. As a result, their Workshops are thoughtfully tailored to support Young People and Adults with a holistic approach to learning, purposefully designed to consider the emotional, spiritual and mental wellbeing of our learners.
Quinton often draws on lived experience to establish credence and build trust with learners in order to progress a good working relationship based on mutual respect and Values. As part of his classes Quinton demonstrates that creative writing, poetry and the arts can be used as a means to express feelings, process new information, decompress and channel energy. He is also of the opinion that music is Universal and is an ideal way to record observations from an individual's perspective.
MMAP Workshops aim to provide the tools to equip students with the practical skills to get the most out of education, work and everyday life and to help them function more confidently, effectively and independently as part of productive and respected members of society.
“Having used Quinton’s Spoken Word Pieces when delivering awareness training to professionals and the Public, I have witnessed first hand the impact his talent has. His positive interactive programmes with teenagers in alternative educational provisions and the feedback he receives from professionals and parents, indicates how relatable he is, not just to peers but to the people his work is ultimately for; the young people themselves. The authenticity of his words, his humility, honesty and passion is what sets Quinton and MMAP apart!” Detective Constable Anoushka Dunic – Metropolitan Police
