The U.S. Green Building Council of West Michigan invites our friends, members, and stakeholders to revel in all that was accomplished in 2024 at the Annual Party & Leadership Awards on December 5, 2024. This celebratory event will be held at the LEED-certified CityFlatsHotel Ballroom. The night will feature dinner, a keynote address, guest speaker address, and will be followed by drinks, merriment, and honoring the 2024 Leadership Awardees. <h4>Leadership Awards</h4>The U.S. Green Building Council of West Michigan Leadership Awards promote outstanding green buildings, programs, and efforts by recognizing projects, organizations, and people who have made extraordinary contributions to achieving healthy, high-performing green buildings across the state of Michigan. Hear from the 2024 awardees as they share their perspectives on the design, construction, and operation of the most outstanding buildings and projects of the year.

Sandra Lupien leads MassTimber@MSU, advancing sustainable mass timber construction and manufacture in Michigan, the Great Lakes Region, and beyond. Through this program, based at Michigan State University, Sandra collaborates with interdisciplinary faculty members, industry partners, policymakers, NGOS, tradespersons, and others on a diverse array of programs and initiatives that are resulting in significant mass timber momentum.
