Looking for a fun way to give back to the community and connect with nature?
On Earth Day, join USGBC National Capital Region's Emerging Professionals committee in volunteering at the Washington Youth Garden! Spend the day getting your hands dirty, connecting with the community, and giving back to the environment.
In 2022, with the help of volunteers, the Washington Youth Garden grew and harvested over 7,580 pounds of produce that were donated back to the community.
The event will be outside. We recommend dressing appropriately for the weather (hat, closed-toe shoes, and sunscreen) and bringing your own reuseable waterbottle.
