William Wiedrich will conduct his final concert as Music Director of the University of South Florida Symphony Orchestra after nearly 30 years on the podium. The program opens with the blazing “Sunburst, A Fanfare for Orchestra” by world-renowned composer Augusta Read Thomas. Beethoven’s Triple Concerto will follow, featuring the artistry of Carolyn Stuart, violin; Scott Kluksdahl, cello, and Svetozar Ivanov, piano. The glory of Gustav Mahler’s First Symphony will bring the season to a celebratory finale!
Tickets for the 2023-2024 Season are being offered free of charge and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The lobby will open 1 hour prior to the event, and the doors will open approximately 30 minutes before the performance. Please arrive ahead of time to ensure your ticket as seating is limited.
