WHAT IS THE WAGNER SUBARU OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE?Five Rivers MetroParks produces the Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience annually the first weekend in October. The Midwest’s premier outdoor adventure festival brings the recreation community together while introducing new people to the outdoors through a variety of activities - including try-it kayaking, biking, slacklining, climbing, fishing and more! There are also demos from pro athletes and competitions wrapped in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy camping, food, beer, vendors and music and of course, the used gear sale, at this family and dog-friendly outdoor-focused event!

With the support of sponsors, Wagner Subaru and Huffy, Five Rivers is able to offer this awesome event for FREE to the public.
GREAT GEAR AT AWESOME PRICES
Five Rivers is proud to support aspiring outdoor enthusiasts on their own adventures by offering them the opportunity to purchase used gear as part of our Waste Free Initiative! Visitors to the Wagner Subaru Outdoor Experience will have the opportunity to sell their gently loved gear – supporting Five Rivers Metroparks, promoting reuse and sustainability, giving someone else the opportunity to try new adventures and earning them cash to invest in new shenanigans of their own!

The normal in-store consignment payout will be raised from 50% for the consignor (seller) up to 70%, with Arrow Adventure’s consignment rate brought down to 30% for this special weekend!
Arrow Adventure will be making a donation to the Five Rivers Metroparks Foundation as part of the participation in this event. In addition, 100% of any donated gear to sell for the weekend will go directly to the Foundation, which promotes conservation, recreation and outdoor education efforts throughout our parks and communities
Consignors can drop off gear beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday, and anytime during festival hours. However, the earlier your gear is dropped off, the higher the likelihood it will be sold during the event. Shoppers are lined up and ready to buy early Saturday morning!
Have a large amount of gear? Limited vehicle access to the Used Gear Area is available Friday evening from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m for early drop off.

BUYERS
Sellers price their own gear, so there are usually some amazing deals at this event! Even though buyers might be scoping out gear early to see what's on the tables, we do not start gear sales until 11 a.m. on Saturday morning!
Please note that we will be accepting cash, venmo and paypal at the event and will not be utilizing credit cards.
