About this Event
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, nomenclature, operation, & defensive shooting fundamentals. We will also cover relevant use of force legal issues & concealed carry laws. After successful completion of this course, you will also meet the requirements to apply for your NC Concealed Carry permit.
Class will meet at:
Royce Gracie Academy of Lake Norman, 7558 NC-73 #101, Denver, NC 28037. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled class start time.
What to Bring:
Pistol/Revolver
Quality Holster & Belt (No Serpa, Shoulder/Cross-Draw, or Collapsible Belly Band Style Holsters)
Ammunition (60 Rounds Minimum)
Eye/Ear Protection
Long Pants
Closed Toed Shoes
Notebook/Pen
Water/Beverage
Snacks
Rain Gear/Sunscreen as Appropriate for Conditions
Bug Spray
Lunch will be provided, but you are welcomed to bring your own if you require special dietary needs/restrictions.

PARTICIPANTS MUST ATTEND 100% OF COURSE & PASS A WRITTEN EXAM AND THE MINIMUM LIVE FIRE QUALIFICATION STANDARD FOR SUCCESSFUL COURSE COMPLETION.
RENTAL FIREARMS & AMMUNITION AVAILABLE FOR IN CLASS USE ARE AVAILABLE FOR A $50 FEE. IF YOU DO NOT PLAN TO BRING YOUR OWN WEAPON & AMMUNITION, AND DIDN'T ALREADY SIGN UP FOR A RENTAL PACKAGE DURING INITIAL CLASS REGISTRATION, PLEASE USE THE LINK BELOW PRIOR TO COMING TO CLASS TO TAKE CARE OF THIS!
