This will be a one day helper training development workshop. Will break up the day into 2 parts. First a brief overview of the basics of training helper work. Then the main portion will be a workshop style set of training sessions aimed at developing the training skills of the helpers while maintaining safety and positive training opportunities for the dog that are volunteering. Regional Training Director Domenik Girardi will be instructing and there to make sure this is a positive learning experience for all involved.
The second event will be held August 30th with instructor Greg Doud. Helpers that attend the first event will be given priority.
Mark your calendars and keep an eye out for additional information. Sign-up sheet and details are coming soon.
Both of these events will be free to those volunteering their dogs, Helpers that are attending, and those wishing to audit.
