USAGSO STEMinist: In Person Robotic Adventures

USA Girl Scouts Overseas is excited to launch its FIRST in-person STEMinist event for Girl Scouts Overseas in Japan. Come experiment, tinker, learn and problem solve with other STEMinist Girl Scouts and earn a STEMinist fun patch.

This in-person session will be hosted on Kadena Air Base in Okinawa and will focus on robotics. Come explore the world of robots – simple machines that can do tasks. Design and build your own robot to take home!

• Check-in will open at 8:30am. The event will start promptly at 9:00am. Please be on time!
• The $35 registration fee for this program covers all supplies, the Future STEMinist fun patch below, a take-home robot, and a snack.
• Additionally, your registration fee also includes complimentary registration in our year-long, virtual program series. Already a Program Pass holder for the virtual STEMinist series? You should have received a discount code for this in-person session. If you didn't, please reach out to us at [email protected].
• Girls must be a registered Girl Scout to attend. If you are not already a registered Girl Scout, you can register at checkout -- just select the Girl Scout Membership add-on in addition to your General Admission ticket.
• This is a drop off event. We are unable to accommodate parents and tag-a-longs. However, we do need adult volunteers! If you are interested in volunteering for the event, please be sure to add a Volunteer ticket to your order. If you don't see don't see any Volunteer tickets availiable, all roles are filled.
• This event is open to all program grade levels, Girl Scout Daisies through Ambassadors.
• A confirmation email with event details will be sent 1-week prior to the program to the email address provided during registration.
