Our March 2nd-Saturday dance (March 8 ) is shaping up to be a special one (though aren’t they all special? of course they are), starting out with a Foxtrot lesson by a new-to-USA Dance Williamsburg instructor, Sara Austin, from DanceSportVA. If you haven’t been in one of Sara’s classes before, then you’re in for a treat! And to match that, we’ll have music by the fantastic DJ Doug McRae, who will be mixing in some St. Patrick’s Day-themed music, to start getting everyone ready for the holiday! And what could be more Irish than dancing on the great floor at the Newport News/Hampton Moose Lodge (#1119)? (OK, maybe that's not what most people think of, but there will be some Irishing-up done, so go with it.) All normal pinching rules are still in effect, but if you’ve been thinking about wearing something green to a dance, this would be the opportune time! Who knows – maybe even the Oreos will be green!
