Greetings Dancers!Join us Saturday, September 14, as we welcome back Chip Sebastian with Lexington Arthur Murray to USA Dance! A popular veteran instructor, Chip will be teaching us the American-style Tango. Derived from the sultry Argentine Tango, American Tango (also called Ballroom Tango) features sharp movements, head snaps, and cat-like stealthy footwork danced in 4/4 time. Tango is danced in closed position, enhanced with dramatic staccato movement.
We can’t wait to see what Chip has in store for us! Please come out and support his class!
After the lesson, you’ll enjoy an evening of Ballroom dancing. We play several genres of music, and you’ll have many opportunities to dance Tango, West Coast Swing, Cha Cha, Waltz, Rumba, and more. Lots of variety and no partner required- singles welcome!
