US University Fair

Welcome to the US University Fair at Lower Canada College! Join us for an exciting event where you can explore various opportunities to study in the United States. This event has been organized by LCC, in collaboration with Selwyn House School and The Sacred Heart School of Montreal. We are also hosting optional information sessions during the fair. Information sessions will be facilitated by university representatives in the Saputo auditorium. Families can register for sessions of interest below. Whether you are a high school student planning for the future or a parent seeking information, this fair is the perfect place to gather valuable information. We look forward to welcoming you to our campus and helping you learn more about opportunities as these universities.

Info: US universities use multiple criteria to determine whether a student is a good fit for their institution. This process is often referred to as the holistic admission process. Criteria include, but are not limited to, high school grades, standardized testing, school and community involvement, letters of recommendation, and the personal essay. University representatives will provide an overview of holistic admission and what students can do now to start planning their applications.

Info: A liberal arts education allows students to explore a broad range of subjects. Students interested in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences can benefit from an education that allows them to study all these subjects together, while developing their problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership skills. Come and learn whether a liberal arts education is a good fit for you.
