EVENT SUMMARY

In 2019, Korea Broadcasting System chartered Algalita’s research vessel, the ORV Alguita, for a three week voyage to do a documentary on Algalita’s 20 years of research in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Their mission was to provide an up close and personal experience of Algalita’s 20 years of research into the plague that plastic accumulating in this area has caused.

For the first time in the United States, Algalita will be premiering this one hour documentary as part of in Long Beach at the Aquarium of the Pacific! Be among the first to see this incredible documentary.

*English subtitles when Korean is being spoken. Some english spoken during film too.
