With U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth anticipated visit to Japan for a defense ministerial meeting with his Japanese counterpart, Defense Minister Gen Nakatani, the two countries will devise plans to uphold the commitments articulated in Trump-Ishiba joint leaders' statement.
