About this Event
The U.S Africa Bizmatch Forum 2022 will be held on December 15-16, 2022, during the sideline of the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit 2022. The business matchmaking forum is an invitation-only event with high-quality pre-scheduled meetings, business sessions, and networking functions where you meet invited professionals only, and gain the most valuable business and government contacts.
On July 20, 2022, President Joe Biden announced that the United States will bring together leaders from across the African continent for a major U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit to be held on December 13-15, 2022 in Washington, DC. “The summit will demonstrate the United States enduring commitment to Africa, and will underscore the importance of U.S.-Africa relations and increased cooperation on shared global priorities,” Biden said in an official statement.
Fifty African leaders are expected to join President Biden in Washington, DC to discuss many issues, including food security, global health, peace and security, energy, and climate crisis, and amplify diaspora ties. In order to leverage the presence in Washington, D.C. of so many African leaders as well as the intense interest in U.S.-Africa ties that the Summit will bring, the U.S Africa Bizmatch Forum has been strategically scheduled along the margins to coincide with the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit 2022.
