About the Play
“If you could go back and know about all of me... everything - every single thing that you
know now... would you still have offered me that beer?”
‘Us’ is a tale of love heartbreak hope and devastation within a single relationship. Exploring the differences between the first half hour and last half hour of a relationship processing the various stages of love is perhaps one of the most important things that will happen within our lives. Confronted with the realities of navigating a romantic relationship truths are laid bare - the person you’d initially paired up with or thought you knew years down the line is someone you no longer see yourself growing old with. ‘Us’ swings through the motions of a duo we’re all too familiar with.
An exploration of the initial stages of a relationship vs the latter part‘Us’ is a tender observation of this relatable facet of life.
The debut production of Us premiered at The White Bear Theatre in Kennington to critical acclaim across the board and sell out shows.
