The Band is comprised of members Peter “Biff” Byford (vocals), Paul Quinn & Doug Scarratt (guitars), Nibbs Carter (bass) & Nigel Glockler (drums). Saxon were the leaders of the new wave of British heavy metal with hits that include "Wheels of Steel’, "State of Grace", " Princess of the Night", "Denim and Leather", and so, so many more! Along with Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple, Uriah Heep helped invent a decorative and uniquely British form of heavy metal with their debut album, Very ‘Eavy, Very ‘Umble. Uriah Heep is responsible for the most elevated and intelligent use of vocals in a heavy metal context amongst the major bands inventing the genre in the 1970s. The "Beach Boys of Heavy Metal" have had timeless classics like “Sunrise,” “Sweet Lorraine,” “Circle of Hands, “July Morning” “Easy Livin’” and “Love Machine!"
