Why are we fighting?
The LA County Westside Area Plan is looking to potentially add 1,597 housing units to our beloved Ladera Center site. Plus, “potentially”, another 2,276 units at LA County opportunity sites Slauson-Fairfax and Wateridge. A total of 3,873 "potential" units added to the single-family 3 mile residential neighborhood of Ladera Heights. LADERA HEIGHTS will bear the weight of accommodating 62% of the 6,212 “potential” units added as a result of the Westside Area Plan rezoning of our community. For Windsor Hills-View Park the number of “potential” units are 2,127 for the small bedroom community.
Please share with your neighbors, friends and other community stakeholders. We must unite and get on the bus!
