Raha Cycling will be organizing a bus from Abu Dhabi to Sharjah, then returning from Fujairah to Abu Dhabi.Registration with Premier is the responsibility of the rider, not Raha Cycling. When you do so, choose the 31-32 km/hr pace and nominate Raha Cycling as a group. Do not choose the bus option, this is for Dubai. A RAHA Captain will collect all the Race bags at Wolfie's and hand them over on race day in the bus.
After registration is completed (ONLY) and you want to reserve a place in the Raha Bus, send an email to [email protected]. We will NOT RESPOND to interest expressed on FB. We will create a What's Up group with the registered participants to provide updates and instructions.
This unique, non-competitive cycle challenge takes you east from the coastal Sharjah lagoons, through the stunning Hajar Mountains across to the east coast of Kalba and then north all the way to Fujairah and your final destination, Le Meridien Al Aqah – the route stretches 215 km with approx 1300m of elevation along smooth tarmac roads, winding through dunes, over mountain climbs, and along the beautiful east coast highway to the finish where you can enjoy the fine sandy beaches of Fujairah.
Raha Cycling will be participating again this year and organizing a Bus to the start and back from the finish. We will depart Abu Dhabi around 03:00am and get back around 20:00 (details TBC).
Hopefully, we will be able to have a dedicated Raha pod again this year so please ensure that when you sign up (via www.urbanultra.com) you quote 31-32kph as your expected average and Raha Cycling as your club (The organizers require this)
