Urban trees face a wide range of stressors, from poor planting practices and unsuitable species choices to soil compaction and invasive pests.

Info: This talk will help attendees identify common palm species grown in the Coastal Plain and learn about their proper management and care techniques, including pest management via chemical and non-chemical methods.

Info: This talk will help attendees be able to identify yellow-legged hornets and their nests, which are often placed in trees. Safety around YLH will be discussed as will proper responses should one be encountered.
