Hello Halifax sketchers!The Halifax Urban Sketchers will be meeting up again this Sunday! We will be sketching in the Halifax Public Gardens, unless the weather changes and then we will go to the rain location listed below.
When: August 17, 2025, from 11am - 1pm
Where: Halifax Public Gardens, 5665 Spring Garden Road, Halifax. For directions Google “Halifax Public Gardens,”
Meeting location: Near the seating section in front of the Gazebo. If it is rainy, we will meet inside Uncommon Grounds coffee shop, 1030 South Park St., Halifax.
Please note that this is a free event. Just show up at the Near the seating section of the Gazebo in the Gardens (or at Uncommon Grounds, if it’s raining) on Sunday and look for the group of friendly people with sketchbooks. Similar to previous outings, you may want to bring a portable chair or stool sketchbook, pens, pencils, erasers, sunblock, etc. Feel free to bring a friend as well!
As usual, we expect that either meet up location will be full of interesting things to sketch and everyone is welcome to capture whatever captures them!
