Learn how to sketch and paint on the go at our exciting Urban Sketching summer camp for adults! We had so much fun with this camp last summer.This camp meets on the following dates:

June 22, 10am-3pm
June 23, 1-5pm
Urban sketching is a form of artistic reportage. It’s the act of drawing or painting on location in the cities, towns, or villages that you live in and travel to. You are capturing a moment in time in a unique, artistic way.
Friday evening we will work in the studio practicing the techniques on objects. Saturday and Sunday we will walk through Farmville and select buildings to record in our journals. This is a messy, fun, loose way to capture an image without the tediousness of realism.
