About this Event
Calling all Sketchers! Pack your art supplies and join us at the Henry P. Leu Gardens to sketch their latest exhibit - Origami in the Garden! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, we welcome everyone who enjoys sketching or drawing on location!
Origami, the Japanese word for 'folding paper' to create a beautiful object has been transformed into colossal metal sculptures that evokes wonder and imagination in the gardens. How many of those 20 art pieces can we capture in our sketchbooks? Let us find out!
Please NOTE: This is a FREE meetup organized by Urban Sketchers Orlando, but there is an Admission fee of $15/Adult into Leu Gardens. For more information, please see:
BRING: Your own sketch materials - sketchbooks, pencils, pens, watercolors, markers, etc. A small portable stool/chair for sittng may be helpful.
You are welcome to share this event with friends, sketchers, or those who wish to try drawing in a sketchbook on location. We look forward to sketching with you and hope you can make it!
