Welcome to Urban RAT Race—a great program that blends the precision of Nosework with the excitement of Rat Sport! Designed to test the instincts and scenting abilities of dogs from all breeds, this sport challenges teams to locate a rat hidden in a simulated “urban” environment.
This workshop is perfect for dog handler teams who want to Try the Urban RAT Race experience and learn all there is to know about this dynamic sport. This ROOKIE entry-level workshop is perfect for dogs and handlers who are brand new to Rat Sports—no prior experience required. Whether you're just starting out or looking for a fresh adventure, this workshop promises tail-wagging fun and a fantastic bonding experience. Prerequisite: None. Just bring your curiosity and your canine partner’s nose!

Mini Trial – ROOKIE ONLY

After the morning workshop, we will have an official Urban Rat Race Trial at the ROOKIE level, featuring all elements: Tubes, Unobstructed, and Obstructed. Dogs who participated in the morning workshop will receive entry fees at 45% of the regular entry fee on the day of the workshop. A great opportunity to get you started in this great sport, and no better deal.
