A fun edible plants-themed workshop for 6-12 year olds with creative, interactive activities.
About this Event

Come and learn all about the edible plants at Walthamstow Wetlands. Learn about their behaviour, habitats, some of the threats they face and what we can do to help. Enjoy plant-themed crafts and a nature walk.

This is a free workshop, but booking via Eventbrite is essential. A £3 deposit is required on booking, which is refundable when you attend. We do not want the deposit to be a barrier to accessing this event, if it is not affordable for you, please email [email protected] for a place.

Meet at the outdoor classroom next to the Engine House,

This session will be led by Di and Becky from our Learning & Engagement team.

Aimed at 6- 12 year olds but younger siblings welcomed. All children must be accompanied throughout the session by a responsible adult.

This is a free event, but donations are welcome. All profits are invested into London Wildlife Trust’s conservation and education work and the care of its nature reserves.
