Discover the wild medicinal plantlife of the Cathedral Quarter of Lincoln
Join us on Sun Aug 25 2024 at 14:00 in the beautiful Cathedral Quarter for a leisurely stroll through the urban landscape. Discover the hidden treasures of nature right in the heart of the city as we explore the healing properties - ancient and modern - of various medicinal plants and trees. This is a great opportunity to learn about the benefits of these natural remedies and connect with like-minded individuals. Don't miss out on this unique experience!
What to expect:
A gentle, engaging and interactive medicinal plant walk around the Cathedral Quarter of Lincoln, with Medical Herbalist and Wild Plant Guide, Hannah Sylvester, identifying plants and trees that can be foraged in your own gardens, and sharing how you can use these plants safely and ethically in the home for helping your health, and sometimes in the kitchen as well as fascinating insights into their folklore, history and botany.
A great way to inspire seeing your local wild plant life with new eyes and build your confidence in interacting with wild nature.
Steampunks welcome!
What you'll receive for coming along:
