The Urban Guerillas are back in town for a not so lazy Sunday afternoon at the Wheaty! They are on the road this summer promoting their new single "Invitation b/w Traffic Jam" which was recorded at Jim Moginie's (Midnight Oil) Oceanic Studio in Sydney. From regular Saturday nights at the Union Hotel with the Screaming Believers in 1981 to Friday nights at the Cremorne Hotel in Unley the Urban Guerillas were an integral part of the early eighties independent scene in Adelaide. After 150 gigs in two years, they moved to Sydney frequently sharing stages with the likes of the Saints, GANGgajang, New Christs and Spy V Spy.
The Bluedays is the ever reliable David Robinson's latest combo. Guaranteed to be bristling with pop goodness and uplifting melodies. Yours Truly are Ken and David in acoustic mode. Bright powerful and full of spirit.
