About this Event
Join the Land Trust on Friday, July 19th, 2024, from 9 am to 11:30 am as we experience the wonders of nature by exploring the shaded woodland path on the San Antonio Creek Trail in Tucker’s Grove County Park, Goleta. In our discovery walk, we will tune our senses to the natural world and explore answers to questions that nature evokes in us to help develop a greater sense of wonder of nature around us. We will pay special attention to the diversity of plant life and also look for signs of wildlife.
This slow-paced 2 to 3 mile family-friendly walk is on fairly level terrain. Restroom and water are available at the dedicated parking lot. Trail is a combination of shaded and exposed, with minor elevation gains. There are a few creek crossings, so good hiking shoes recommended. Dogs must be on leash.
Land Trust Treks are a free, public series of guided hikes for the community to explore scenic Santa Barbara County and to meet your local Land Trust.
