Join us for an urban birdwatch following our parish boundary - a long stretch of which runs along the river Soar, so there should be something more than pigeons to look at, we promise! (we saw 22 different bird species the last time we did this).We’ll be accompanied by our Ornithologist-In-Residence Dr Alex Bond, who is a world renowned Ornithologist and Ecologist, as well as the Senior Curator in charge of Birds at the Natural History Museum.
We recommend bringing comfortable shoes, a pair of binoculars if you have them, and warm/waterproof clothing depending on the weather.
This event is free and there’s no need to book.
