Chicago for Chicagoans is excited to bring you a tour of fabulous Uptown! Led by Chicago for Chicagoan's Board Member and Uptown superfan Leyla Royale , this walking tour will take you through the rapidly changing neighborhood and trace its history from a glitzy 1920s past, to the tumultuous and radical 1960s-70s, to its current identity as a multicultural neighborhood filled with old architecture and brand new highrises.
We'll begin the tour out front of Everybody's Coffee and end on the wonderful Asia on Argyle . Plan to patronize one of the strip's delicious eateries for lunch!
