The Cardboard Studio
Join us for a day of creativity and hands-on fun as families come together to build and play with a the cardboard car ramp!
Using imaginative designs and lots and lots of cardboard, we’ll transform simple materials into an exciting masterpiece.
Each family will get to design and construct their own unique cardboard car and put it to the test on our ramp.
Workshop led by Tom Pnini
Tom Pnini, an artist and educator, passionately shares his pedagogy of art. He guides young artists in experimenting with diverse tools and unconventional techniques and emphasizes that the journey of creation is as enriching as the final outcome itself.
4PM Yaala Ballin Jazz Band
Music & Storytelling!
Yaala Ballin and her band will present some of their favorite gems of the Great American Songbook. Songs that were written in the last century but are still relevant today. Jazz music for the people that tells stories of love, friendship and life.

Yaala Ballin is a jazz vocalist, based in New York City. She regularly performs with her various ensembles that include duo with pianist Michael Kanan, jazz quartet with guitarist Pasquale Grasso bassist Ari Roland and drummer Keith Balla, the David Berger Big Band and her strings woodwind and brass chamber orchestra. Such diverse and wide-ranging musical collaborations draw on Yaala’s extensive musical training as a flutist and a pianist, and life-long passion for music of all kinds.
Snacks from Tsion Cafe : We're a place with Pan-African love, Black Israeli pride and a passion for delicious vegan food backed by a full bar with international beers and wines. Tsion Cafe is a place where we harmonize flavors from Ethiopia, Israel, and the ever diverse New York.
