Peaks’N’Pubs is a friendly, welcoming group who always ensure no one is left behind. To sign up, send a message to the Peaks’N’Pubs page inbox and we’ll sort you out with the registration form. Once we have your details, we’ll send you a link to a WhatsApp group for the walk, where you’ll find all the details and you’ll be able to chat to other walkers before the walk.
Peaks’N’Pubs a British Mountaineering Council (BMC) affiliated hiking group. When you register to hike with us, we use the details from the basic information form to register you as a ‘prospective member’ of the club, which means you are the covered under the club’s combined liability insurance. Everyone on the walk needs to be registered. You are entitled to 3 months or 5 hikes (whichever occurs first) and after that point, you can join as a full club member which costs £29.33 for the year (this amount is discounted from July-December). There’s no obligation to join the club, so come on a few hikes with us and make a decision from there 😊
100% of our membership fees go directly to the BMC to support the vital work they do to conserve and protect the environment, access and the rights of climbers and hikers. Other perks of being BMC registered includes discount at outdoor stores and also combined liability insurance for the club.
If you have any other questions, just ask!
*Please be aware, we are all volunteers working around our jobs and family commitments, so if you don’t get a response straight away, please bear with us!
