If you missed our summer screening of Upon Waking, here’s your chance to see this heart-warming movie and meet Max Risman, the writer and director. We’ll be showing his movie in the American Buddhist Study Center’s library at 331 Riverside Drive (between 105th and 106th Street) in New York City.
I love new, fresh voices in movies. Max is one of those new, exciting writers/directors who will continue to create entertaining stories for years. Upon Awakening is creative, entertaining, and thought-provoking. I can’t wait to see where Max takes us next. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, and it was great to see Sherilyn Fenn from Twin Peaks fame back on screen.
