About this Event
Join us for an unforgettable evening as we gather to celebrate the release of Upon the Jet Stream: Poetry, Prose, and Stories of War, Hope, and How Beauty Heals by author and poet Will Davis.
Through an intimate author talk, live poetry readings, and an open book discussion, we’ll journey together across landscapes shaped by conflict and resilience—this isn’t just a collection, but a crossing.
Enjoy light refreshments and live musical performances from guitarist Erin Kerr and cellist Richard Desjardins.
Come ready to listen, reflect, and celebrate a book that invites us not only to read, but to carry its questions and its hope into the world.

MEET THE AUTHOR
I’m Will Davis, known as —a self-proclaimed steward of stories and the creator of a writing style I call liminara. Rooted in the sacred tension, of what is and what could be, my work seeks to speak life, inspire dignity, and do good. I not only inhabit the threshold—I invite others to cross it and journey with me into spaces of empathy, and transformation.
My debut poetry collection, Threads of Resilience: Weaving the Human Spirit Through Poetry, offers a firsthand account of the lived experiences of migrants and immigrants at the U.S.-Mexico border.
My second collection, Upon the Jet Stream, takes flight across Cuba, Africa, and Ukraine, exploring themes of war, hope, and the healing power of beauty.
Beyond the page, I’m an educator, immigration and human rights advocate, and a passionate believer in the power of storytelling to bridge divides and honor our shared humanity.
