Jackie (Soul Sister Yoga & Gong) & Adam (Become One Breathwork) are excited to invite you to their Uplifting Sunday Retreat.After the beautiful feedback from our last retreat days and our weekend retreats in the woods, we are so pleased to be collaborating again with a wonderfully uplifting day where we get to share with you the things we love.
We will share techniques with you to help you move towards holistic health and happiness.
Powerful and therapeutic breathwork,
Transformative cold water immersion,
Magical and heart opening cacao ceremony,
Rebalancing gong sound bath.
This will be a transformative day where you will
learn breathwork techniques to create energy and heat within the body, and also to control your breath to prepare you for your cold water immersion in the ice bath. Before your cold water experience we will take you on a journey through a guided breathwork meditation to open you up on every level, allowing you to clear out the body, mind and heart.
You then have the option to experience an invigorating ice bath to assist you on your healing journey bringing clarity, focus and helping to build resilience. Listening to your body and using the breathing techniques, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone but spending no longer than 13 minutes per person in the ice bath.
We will serve you a healthy and nourishing light hot lunch and you will have the opportunity to meet like minded people and share your experiences of the morning session.
In the afternoon we will introduce you to the plant medicine Mother Cacao, sharing with you a cacao ceremony. Cacao is uplifting and heart opening. It naturally lifts our mood and raises our vibrations. We will drink our cacao mindfully in ceremony reminding ourselves of our path and purpose and allowing the plant medicine to open our hearts.
The afternoon will finish with an integrating Gong Sound Bath. During the Gong Bath all there is for you to do is let the sounds of the Gongs wash over you. There is no past, no future, just this moment of merging with the sounds of these ancient instruments. This is fabulous for those who struggle to meditate, switching off the chatter of the mind.
