Uplift Charity’s 12th Annual Homeless Winter Drive
Date: SUNDAY, December 22,2024
Time: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Choose your preferred volunteer hours)
Location: Long Beach CA-exact address will be emailed once registered
Volunteers Needed to Help With:
• Distributing hygiene kits, snack packs, blankets, and hot lunches
• Assisting Chef in preparing hot lunches
Important Information:
• Waivers must be signed by all participants.
• Age Requirement:
• Volunteers must be 15 years or older.
• Ages 15-17 must be accompanied by their parent.
• Community Service Completion Letters available upon request
Event Schedule:
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Assist the Chef with lunch preparations (Non-halal/pork products may be part of the menu. Volunteers may choose to assist with other food items.)
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
• Prepare handout items and hot lunches
1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
• Serve food and distribute items (Non-halal/pork products may be part of the menu. Volunteers may choose to assist with other items.)
3:30 PM - 4:30 PM
• Clean up and pack up
