About this Event

We are excited to be hosting our first upholstery workshop with home furnishing experts Sophie & Victoria of Sew Vintage. They will guide you through all the steps needed to create a wonderful footstool for your home or you may wish to make one for a special Christmas present.

All equipment and materials are included, including the wooden frame and legs, foam and construction fabrics. You can choose from two sizes of footstool, either 45 x 45cm square or 60 x 30cm rectangular. Please let us know which style you would like to make by selecting an add-on at check out. The wooden legs are easily removable and will be supplied unfinished, enabling you to paint or stain them in a colour of your choice afterwards. Please note that the legs will be the style shown on the blue footstool in the picture above.

To finish your foot stool, a selection of Lewis & Wood fabrics are also included in the price and we recommend that you come along to the session 30 minutes earlier to choose. Velvets will be available at an additional charge along with other fabrics in our sale shop. You are also very welcome to bring your own fabric to the workshop, heavier weight fabrics are ideal and you will need to bring a metre with you.

This is going to be a hugely enjoyable day and we hope you can join us and learn a new skill in our beautiful workshop space. A delicious lunch and refreshments will be served.
