Workshop: Upcycling the 'Runcorn' Mural with Nick
Get hands-on with history in this exciting upcycling workshop! On Friday, 1st November, we’ll be breathing new life into pieces of the iconic mural from Runcorn’s Old Town Bloom community garden. Rather than letting these remnants fade away, we’ll transform them into practical and creative items like plant pots, pencil cases, and notebook covers.
Come along and explore the joy of upcycling while preserving a piece of local heritage.
What to Expect:
- Hands-on experience upcycling material from the much-loved *Runcorn* mural.
- Learn how to create practical items like plant pots, pencil cases, and notebook covers.
- A relaxed and creative environment where you can explore sustainability through art.
Can’t make the main session? Join one of our repeat sessions:
- Friday, 1st November: 1-3pm (afternoon session)
- Friday, 15th November: 1-3pm (afternoon session)(afternoon session)
Join us for a workshop that combines creativity with local history, and take home your very own upcycled piece of Runcorn's past!
We’re proud to announce that this workshop is part of our Textile Wellbeing Workshops, funded by Reconnecting Runcorn, as part of the programme to develop 71 High Street. These workshops aim to help you discover new skills, boost your creativity, and take some time for self-care.
