About this Event
In this workshop, participants of all ages are invited to learn hand-sewing techniques using upcycled materials with Camila Salcedo to create simple wearable art pieces such as a vest or a tote bag/pouch. Salcedo is a Venezuelan-born and Tkaronto-based interdisciplinary artist working primarily in textiles and community art. Their work in the Labour Pains exhibition features wearable artworks made in response to the experience of artists living with brain injuries.
