The Riverfront Arts Center is excited to host a special workshop with artist Cate Thomding on Saturday, October 12, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. This hands-on session, Upcycling and Thread, will guide participants through creative techniques in fiber art, focusing on giving new life to materials through stitching and design.The workshop is intentionally limited to 5–6 students, allowing Cate to provide individualized attention and ensure everyone can fully engage with the material. Each participant will receive a kit including a hoop, needle, thread, and fabric to continue practicing at home.
The fee for the workshop is $40, which covers instruction and all provided materials. Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged. Call or visit the gallery to make your payment.
The Riverfront Arts Center is free and open to the public. Regular gallery hours are Wed. through Fri., 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Closed on holidays and between exhibitions.)
